I was born in Macclesfield, Cheshire, UK, and raised in the nearby town of Wilmslow. From an early age, I discovered I had a flair and passion for writing.
I began writing at the age of 7 and was first published in 2010. I currently live in New Zealand.
I’m an an avid horsewoman and gamer, I also have a passion for singing, dancing, the theatre, and my garden.
My Pen Names

Under this pen name I write Paranormal Romance novels and novelettes. These are extremely spicy and smutty and definitely best read by adult women, I do recommend after dark as well.
Mia Herald Hill
Under this pen name I write Epic Fantasy novels in far off worlds. These books are by far the longest that I write and the paperbacks and hardbacks especially require a decent wrist strength to hold them! One of these series was originally published under C.S. Woolley as The Chronicles of Celadmore but is now the Guardians of Light.
C. S. Finlay
For those of you who have followed my career from the start, you may have noticed that the Nicolette Mace: the Raven Siren series is missing from my sites. It’s not because I have killed the series, but instead I am relaunching it under a new pen name with some tweaks and a much more cohesive idea of where the whole series is going! You’ll be able to find it soon under this pen name, as well as more crime noir thrillers that I have in the works!
